Despite being held for the first time, Horti ASIA 2012, an International Tradeshow for Horticultural and Floricultural Production and Processing Technology, was undoubtedly very successful. The Show drew over 5,000 trade visitors both national and international or 5,572 to be exact along with 140 companies from 13 countries traveling across the planet to exhibit in this marvelous event. Countless of innovations and technologies were displayed, presented, and demonstrated throughout those amazing three days from 9 to 11 May 2012, in which many business deals were made leading to high level of satisfaction and appreciation in the end.

All these could not be possible without the kind support and cooperation from 12 governmental and private organizations plus another 6 country pavilions including China, France, the Netherlands, Philippines, Taiwan, and Thailand.

Referring to the post-show survey, Horti ASIA 2012 was rated 7.2 and 7.6 on a 10-point scale from exhibitors and visitors respectively for their satisfaction level. Furthermore, 80% of exhibitors have requested that the show should be repeated in a yearly basis. Therefore, VNU Exhibitions Asia Pacific, the organizer of such event, is looking forward to doing so in order to response to those needs and be ready for the upcoming ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.

Horti ASIA 2013 will be repeated again from 9 to 11 May 2013 at Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (BITEC), Thailand. The show is definitely going to be even more interesting with its main purpose of offering solutions, new ideas and opportunities for the horticultural and floricultural industry remains, but simply better. There will be more diversification in exhibitors and visitors in any possible way related to horticultural and floricultural business. The innovations and technologies featured in this edition will not only consist of the jaw-dropping extremely advanced ones, but also include those that are much more suitable for the Southeast Asia region.

Exhibition space is now available for booking and it is essential to do it in advance in order to occupy prime locations. Currently, there are a number of leading companies that have already confirmed their place in the event such as a group of exhibitors from the Netherlands including Sercom, Geerlofs, Ridder/Drive Hortimax, Anthura b.v., Codema Systems, PRIVA, A & N Luiten and Jiffy Group.
